Consider the following:
1.The mobile as well as landline voice quality is poor when compared with say China.
2.Boradband speed has remained a mediocore 2MB when 8MBPS and 24MPBS are becoming a norm.
3.A simple feature like Voice is not available with all the operators.

Despite tall claims of so called -Telecom Revolution, much is left to be desired.<br

Having 2 connections will be a norm going forward as I forsee it. Probably one for your 3G / internet / VAS kind of services and other for your telephony requirements. If that becomes a trend, I doubt it will slow down..

I dont think it will slow down drastically in the near future. It will slow down as we approach the 600-700 million mark.Anyway, its a phenomenal achievement and a clear indication that the private sector can bring about development much efficiently and faster than the govt.

i would be surprised if the growth momentum carries on.
