Yeah, that’s true – Women will be saviors of World Economy more than what India & China will be – You want to know why?
According to Global Study by BCG (Boston Consulting group) – The earning power of women globally is expected to reach $18 trillion by 2014 which is more than the estimated GDPs of India and China combined. (source)
Now that’s a revelation for me – Not that I am undermining the women power at all here, but I had not expected their earnings to have such a large influence on Global Economy.
Like we have mentioned before, Women are fast climbing the world Corporate Ladder – We have more women CEO’s handling Fortune 500 companies anytime before in the History.
Here is a startling fact that came out in the recently released US labor Report:
The labor report showed historic statistic that underlines the growing importance of "womenomics" — for the first time, the number of working women in the world’s largest market was virtually equal to the number of men. By the end of the year, working women in the U.S. are expected to outnumber men.
The women are not only earning more, but they lead in Consumer spending as compared to men (which incidentally keeps the Economy on Roll !)
The advertising and Marketing professionals should seriously take a note of this – 80% to 90% of all Advertising campaigns are targeted to Male consumers. Are they missing out on the Biggest block of spenders?

I guess all husbands should read this post!!! lollzzz Behind every successful man there is a woman now will vice-versa be true too. I doubt……….Indra Nooyi the CEO of Pepsi Co India is one such lucky woman. Few super successful celebs quit their marriages coz of an uncaring n non-understanding husband. Won’t name them……….
M proud to be a woman. So its time for all woman to stand-up n tell the whole world “We’ll give you a better world to live in n b proud of”
