Last week we announced a new feature on this blog called India News digest, and it has got some great response from readers. Thank you to all the readers who gave us feedback either in form of comments, on twitter or through mail.
Few of our readers requested for subject wise news digest, so that they can only subscribe to their interest areas – We have listened – we will be starting a daily digest based on a pre-decided subject for a particular day every week. This will be an important digest for all the Indian startups. I have been keeping away from analyzing and writing about startups since last few months, but now with Startup Saturday, I plan to cover startups and entrepreneurship. This digest will give a brief overview of the startups that have been launched in past week. If you would like to get news only related it to it, make sure you subscribe to Startup Saturday Feed. If you want your startup to be featured here, ensure to send me a mail at arun-at-trak-dot-in.
Okay, Now Sunday is going to be special, because it will absolutely anything and everything that I want to write. Dont be surprised if I share a joke with you in this digest. Guys come on, its a Sunday !! Other than that Sunday will cover subjects that dont fall under any of the above category. If you would like to get news only related it to it, make sure you subscribe to Special Sunday Feed.

Nikhil,
Thats a great Idea, I would love to offer Guest writing positions for Weekly Digest.
let me see how I can get guest writers organized.
Hi Arun,
I have been following Trak.in for quite a while now.
You write very thoroughly. Keep the good stuff coming!
I am a founding member of HeadStart Foundation, a volunteer driven not-for-profit that runs monthly “Startup Saturdays” (events) around the country!! Strange that you didn’t know about them. They are featured regularly in DARE, BusinessGyan and a few blogs. Please check network.headstart.in to learn more.
We are doing a good deal of work for entrepreneurs at the grassroots. We are interfacing Startups with Industries, just launched a high tech incubator at IISc, organize a number of entrepreneurial networking events etc. I would love to tell you more about our activities on the field if you are interested. It may help you get a new picture of whats happening in the entrepreneurial landscape. If you are looking at covering startups regularly, we would be happy to assist you in any way possible. Be it with content or connections. Just let me know.
Cheers,
Amit
Hey Amit,
Thanks for dropping by. Amit I actually knew about it, but the name similarity is not on purpose. It was based on various factors one of which is “S S” :)
I know Headstart since the start and have been following them since then. Incidentally, one of your volunteers contacted me (atleast thats what I think) for showcasing my startup for your Saturday showcase.
Having said that, I’d be delighted to interact with you and see how we could mutually help each other.
On a side note, do you think there is conflict due to similar names?
Hi Arun,
Cool, can you please send me an email so that we can discuss how we can work together. Alternatively, you can call me up on 9886314456 too. (Please don’t publish this).
I understand that ‘Startup Saturday’ is a beautiful alliteration that goes well with your other themes too. You didn’t have much of a choice did you? :) But yes, I do think there is a conflict of branding there.
Again, these are ideological issues that we can easily sort out amicably. So lets just chat up?
