World’s best online presentation contest

by Arun Prabhudesai on June 30, 2008

Slideshare, the biggest community site for sharing presentations launched The World’s Best Presentation Contest 2008. If you have created a presentation that you are proud of, you should head straight to Slideshare. If your presentation is liked by the eminent judges, you stand to win prizes like Macbook Air, Ipods and Amazon Kindle. Cool prizes I must say !

The panel of judges include Guy Kawasaki, Nancy Duarte, Garr Reynolds and Bert Decker. To participate in the challenge, contestants can upload their presentation files to SlideShare, and people from across the world will vote for their favorites. Judges will choose the winners from among the top voted presentations. Contest entries can be uploaded until July 30, 2008, and results will be announced on August 6, 2008.

Slideshare had held this annual contest last year as well and more than 400 entries were received. Some very good presentations were unearthed during that contest.

Here is one of my favorite presentations on Slideshare. Although over a year old, it still is very informative from global standpoint.

I hope you enjoyed it !
