Unconferences have now caught the imagination of masses. The Barcamps, blogcamps, Mobile Monday’s, startup lunches, ideacamps and such other events have been hugely successful. The informal atmosphere in these unconferences are real boon for upcoming entrepreneurs.

If you are an entrepreneur (or a budding entrepreneur) and if you have not attended such an event as yet, I think you are really missing something.

So here is another one – Startup Saturday organized by Kickstart.in guys ( strangely Startup Saturday is on a Sunday :)

    Message from Startup Saturday Organizers:

KickStart is a not-for-profit initiative aimed at promoting entrepreneurship. Driven by the popularity and success of Barcamps and Mobile Mondays in Bengaluru where some of the founding members of KickStart have been involved with, KickStart has been founded to support entrepreneurs and promote entrepreneurship.

A lot of entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs want to learn from others who have been there and done that. This conference is called “Special Startup Saturday“, after “Startup Saturday”, a monthly event for entrepreneurs held on the second Saturday of every month.

Special Startup Saturday has been designed with an array of talks and workshops on specific topics which entrepreneurs want to learn about. A number of seasoned entrepreneurs and experts on entrepreneurship have come forward to address these issues. The conference also features an interactive session on writing a business plan.

    Hi Arun,

Thanks for spreading the word on Startup Saturday.

Startup Saturday will continue to be in Saturday. There were a lot of folks sitting on fence still undecided about taking a plunge into entrepreneurship. So, we at KickStart decided to do an event specially focussed for those folks. Since the expected audience was huge and required auditorium to be free, we decided to have it on Sunday – hence the Special Startup Saturday on a Sunday ;-). Hope it clarifies.

BTW, we are planning to host Startup Saturday in Pune. It would be great if you could help us out. We have already started out at Mumbai and Hyderabad. Delhi chapter is starting out soon. If you could mail me your contact number, I can have a brief chat on the same.

    Thanks
