It has been many days since I have published a top list. So here are the top 25 great companies to work for in India. This list has been published by Indian arm of Great place to work Institute.
The list has been compiled based on the responses given by company employees’ to a proprietary survey developed by the Great Place to Work® Institute. In addition, materials submitted by the company are evaluated, including the company’s response to the Great Place to Work® Culture Audit©, any accompanying materials submitted by the company for consideration, as well as information gathered from other reputable sources such as media stories about the company.

Google has taken the numero uno position when it comes to the best companies in India to work for.
this list is not correct. how come great companies like L&T be missed. it is the largest engg. company in india with more than 35000 employees. ranks 961 in global forbes 2000 best companies list and ranked No.1 in india for the best managed company.

regarding bajaj capital. I have long experiance with this company. No visinory leader in the company. middle management is totally blank with innovative ideas. securing job on the basis of “CHAMCHAGIRI” or buttering. In middle lavel no professionals. that is the “kamjor kadi” in BCL. Unfortunatly those people are success in BCL. so really it is great place for them.
If we formulized it then anyone stay in BCL more then 5 years then ………………………….

You have a great point here. Most of these survey organisations normally do not have a mechanism for simple sampling, and further accounting for the share of demographic diversity and managerial complexity that larger organizations have. They have an oversimplified business model, and large companies are wiser to these gimmicks, sometimes by a whisker, and often by a mile.
Another survey to be taken with a pinch of salt.Majority of the cos have small employee strength(compared to say Infy,Lupen Pharma,TATA motors etc). Isn’t the scale of the organisation(in terms of employees) a more decisive factor in these surveys?Cos with huge no of employees is bound to have lesser rating.
