  2. m doin my LLB pursuin for 7th semester… m interstd to opt corporate law aftr LLB, so cud u plz suggst few gud “CORPORATE LAW” colleges in Kolkata and Delhi…N cut off marks????

  3. This kind of ranking Prima Facie appears to be a marketing/advertising stunts. These people are speaking and boasting about the enginnering department of BVP, Pune. Do they have any idea what they are suppose to survey and check?

  4. Hi, i am pursuing my third year graduation (B.A. correspondence). I would like to pursue law simultaneously through correspondence only. Any suggestions !!. The examinations should be online so that i could attempt it from any where in India. Kindly help. Regards Anupama

  5. can anyone help me ! i have done M.B.A. in H.R.&I.R. in 2009. i have an interest in Law. in which Law course should i go for! which can enhance my M.B.A IN H.R. VALUE?

  6. could you also list the most distinguished reserchers of the civil law in India? For example, who is most famous for the contract reserch in law?

  7. hey man where is the university school ip university

  8. Thanks for the Rankings, I really needed this one…

  9. Sharique Hussain

Being a student of law i know what should be the quantum on which the actual position of an institution can be judged. if colleges like NLS, jodhpur, Faculty of law, Aligarh muslim university, GNLU did’nt find its place in the list then we should get into the matter and seriously think about it.

  10. Your ranking is as dubious as the India Today Ranking, if not more so. Instead of an armchair ranking, you would do well to speak to alumni of all the institutions ranked in your list and ask for an honest opinion of which institution he / she would have preferred if he / she had a choice. You could also examine the CLAT preference list to see what which institutions have been preferred by the top 500. Institutions such as Symbiosis and ILS have no transparent means of admission, haphazard classes and very, very poor placements – only a fraction of the graduating class get offers comparable to NLSIU, NALSAR or NUJS. Putting the former in the top 10 is a dishonour to all the NLUs and particularly the latter.

    • wonderful!!! i really like ur comment! u r absolutely right…being one of the students of nujs, i can say this very confidently that it is ne day better than colleges like ils and symbiosis….

  11. would like to know about the better of the two combination of L.L.B(5YRS) with company secretary or with B.B.A or may be any other u would like to suggest??

  12. plz plz help me!!I really need to know that out of Amity law college.Punjab university or Rajiv Gandhi national law university which should i opt for pursuing corporate law in future,5 year course.

  13. Avijit Karmakar

Many many thanks for helping me.

  14. Thanks for providing the same… ur website took me and placed at very right place where i wanted to be… it search has up to mark… Gr8.. thank u once again

  15. what about other national law colleges we want their ratings also. I think u should make ratings according to their placements.

  16. I think its unfair to leave out NUJS, Jadavpur University, Kolkata from this list. Its cut off is higher than the National Law College in Bhopal. I hope NUJS finds a place in ur revised list!

    • The National University of Juridical Science, Kolkata is not a part of Jadavpur University and is an independent university.

  17. Thanks for the top 20 law colleges in India. It gives me an idea for the best. I’ll be more thankful if u give me the info of law colleges in Mumbai.

  18. smriti maheshwari

you have not mentioned the rest of the national law colleges.would definitely like to know how do you rate them.

  19. Abhinav Shrivastava

  24. Arjun Natarajan

V.M. Salgaocar College of Law (VMSCL) Miramar Goa has been taking great strides in improving the quality of legal education and thus substantially enhancing the quality of law graduates who obtain a Law Degree from Goa University. The Education at the college is not limited to imparting of legal knowledge to the students on various legal subjects but includes a kind of legal training which could enable the students to develop the capacity for rational thinking, articulation, presentation of arguments and sensitivity to the social needs. VMSCL has one of the best libraries which any law college can possess. In fact VMSCL had the option of being one of the National Law Schools but considering the steep fees charged by the National Law Schools, the benovalent Salgaocars decided to retain its identity by maintaining a reasonable and affordable fees structure. In the times to come VMSCL will climb the charts in the ranking pages.

  25. the thing is that u hv been calculating all the list basically through year of establishing. as a law aspirant i have been only talked about CLAT and the 7 best law schools. u havent even included sum of those in ur list. i think they deserve a place here.
