While going through my Google reader today, I noticed that I have subscribed to more than 67 rss feeds (25 Indian blogs and others non-Indian).

Till date, there has never been a time when I have been able to go through all of them in a single day. However, I would like to specifically point out few Indian blogs that I make a point to read on daily basis through my feed reader. They are not only source of great information, but have indirectly helped me in improving my own blogging.

Indian Blogs that I follow regularly

Labnol: Undoubtedly, India’s top blog and source of great technology posts for me. Even though Amit is A-list blogger, he has always been quite courteous and always responds when asked for any kind of help.

Watblog: A blog that covers Indian web, advertising and technology areas quite well. I have been a reader of WATblog for a long time now and I must say Rajiv Dingra and his team do a great job.

Alootechie: Another blog that covers Indian online industry quite comprehensively. They have incessant number of quality posts published daily.

Pluggd.in: I have been a pluggd.in reader for a while now and am really impressed with the number of quality posts (on startups and entrepreneurship) Ashish manages to publish by himself or through guest bloggers.

Sramana Mitra: Although not completely an Indian blog, I never miss Sramana’s Web3.0 strategy posts. They are source of great insight.

ContentSutra: A comprehensive Indian blog that manages to get breaking news on Indian online and corporate world quite often.

Kamlabhatt: She really manages to get some great interviews and podcasts!

Some of the other Indian blogs that I follow, but not so regularly are startupdunia, WebYantra, Options in India, India Uncut and Economy Blog.

Other than these my feed reader also has personal blogs of my friends and other popular non-Indian blogs on business, Web2.0, startups and entrepreneurship !

Thanks Trak.in for the mention. I guess if you put your blog into that list then the list would be complete as far as a list of blogs to read daily is concerned :)

How to you classify a blog as Indian, by the authors or the readers?

    Asankhya,
It is combination of both, content as well as the author :)
Readers could be from across the globe though…

    Hey Gautam,
Glad to see you drop by…

Your content is always great and I do follow your blog, but infrequently (being focussed on HR and management primarily).
Infact, your blog is one of the top HR blogs in India :) (I should say world because I remember one of your posts where you figured in worlds top 25 list of HR blogs).

I was merely pulling your leg ;)

I know that the blogs you follow are more ‘startup’ and online related blogs :D

The list was incomplete without my blog :)

But I don’t complain, since I started the blog only last week. So next time I will make to the list.
    ;)
