CNN’s Business 2.0 has mentioned Bangalore as the best city to do business in the wired world.
To be honest, I am quite surprised at this news. However, if an authority like Business 2.0 says it; one really needs to consider it and take it seriously.
I am not sure of the basis on which they have come up with conclusion of the best cities, so cannot really comment on that.

Being best in ‘wired’ world, I guess they have given more weightage to technological advanced cities and places where you can get your work done easily.
This is what they have to say:
Business travelers are as likely to find themselves in Seoul or Bangalore as they are on Sand Hill Road. But where to meet, eat and check e-mail? Not to worry. Our city-by-city list details the best places to get things done, no matter where you are.
Here are the 12 cities which Business 2.0 says are the best to do Business in the world.
1. Bangalore, India
2. Barcelona, Spain
3. Helsinki, Finland
4. Hong Kong
5. London, England
6. Seoul, Korea
7. Shanghai, China
8. Singapore
9. Stockholm, Sweden
10. Tallinn, Estonia
11. Tel Aviv, Israel
12. Tokyo, Japan
Have you noticed, none from United States?
Isn’t that surprising?
I assume US cities are not included because they have considered the Business travelers to be originating from US and traveling across the globe.
Note: Business2.0 has mentioned these 12 cities to do business, without any ranking as such. The list above is in the order they appear in the article.

The list is ordered – alphabetically!
Bangalore would slip to 2nd just by using its new name.
