I love Indian advertising, even if it means missing the first ball of the over, while watching a cricket match. The creativity in Indian advertising is one of the best across the globe. I have seen plenty of advertisements In UK as well as in US, and I can say with complete confidence that Indian advertising is far more creative.

Most of the times Indian ads are “over the top” and not very realistic, but the fact of the matter is that they stick in your brain. The brand recall based on the advertisement is very high.

Lenovo, one of the giant PC and Notebook manufacturers in the world, made its entry into India last year. They ran an excellent advertising campaign featuring Bollywood Star Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan. Seeing the success and creativity of the ads released in India, Lenovo was convinced that their global advertising campaign should be completely handled by Indian advertising agencies.

Here is the video of three ads that Lenovo created for Indian Market.

I am eagerly waiting for their new ads that will be launched globally.

indian advertising has definitely done kudos for itself….but it still has miles to go…..recognition of the ad fraternity in india on a global front does show that they deserve a good pat on the back..

I really appreciate the creativity of indian advertisement experts, they know the exact target audience & deliver the perfect message. We can take the example of add campaign of Big bazaar casting Dhoni in the add with fabulous statements viz., "Desh badla bhesh bhesh badlo", "Dikhane ki duniya hai dikha do", "Aaj kal log sabse pehle kapde dekhte hai".This works so positive in the mind of the perspective customer & i personally think it will do wonder for Big bazaar.
