As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Obama excused the turkey from being Thanksgiving dinner as he accepted the bird given the name Courage.
Obama is quoted by the AP as stating of changing his mind about eating the traditional presidential offering, Thanks to the interventions of Malia and Sasha because I was planning to eat this sucker Courage will also be spared this terrible and delicious fate.
