State job growth is reportedly being seen in positions for temporary staff.
Washington, D.C. (WiredPRNews.com) Many states reportedly added jobs last month, however, the growth is likely attributed to an increase in temporary positions according to economists. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), over half of the states in the country exhibited an increase in jobs, but some say the growth may not be sustainable due to many of the jobs seen not being for permanent positions.
Some; however, see the recent jobs report as generally a positive sign for the economy overall. Jim Diffley, a regional economist at IHS Global Insight, is quoted by the AP as stating of the 28 states that added jobs for the month of October, Its a positive signal & that states are mixed rather than uniformly bad.
