The Travel Oasis moniker was chosen after a recent online naming contest. The winner, Susannah Greenwood of San Jose, Calif., was awarded a $500 Gap Adventures voucher for her creative efforts. Greenwood and her fellow adventurers will now have access to a compelling, regularly-updated travel blog where they can to share their photos from the field–the best of which will be chosen as the Travel Oasis Photo of the Week–while continuing to learn about the experiences of travel-obsessed Gappers.
