MANCHSTER, ENGLAND, December 19, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ — The International Athletics PSD Bank Meeting will take place in Dusseldorf in February 2010.

Races and field events will be held at the Leichtathletikhalle in the Arena-Sportpark for the fifth year running.

People who are looking for accommodation in Dusseldorf may want to arrange to be in the city for the exciting athletics event.

At the 2009 meeting, competitors set three season’s world best times – in the men’s 400m and 5000m races and in the women’s 60m event.

Following the conclusion of last year’s competition, Christina Begale, general manager of sportAgenteur Dusseldorf, commented that they were already looking forward to the 2010 meeting.

Approximately 150 athletes turned out for the event in 2009 and organisers expect this year to follow suit.

Earlier this month, world indoor hurdles champion Lolo Jones announced that she will be attending the competition to chase his third title in four years at the competition.

Tickets start from EUR16 (GBP14.25) when purchased in advance and cost EUR18 if they are obtained from the box office on the day of the championship.

“LateRooms anticipates heavy demand for hotel Dusseldorf due to the International Athletics PSD Bank Meeting and recommends that people attending book their accommodation early,” says LateRooms head of marketing Jess Reading.
