Orlando, FL (WiredPRNews.com) Danielle Queening, a registered diagnostic medical sonographer and an adjunct faculty member at Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences (FHCHS) has been appointed to the 2009-2010 Continuing Medical Education (CME) review committee of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS).

I am excited about the professional responsibilities that being a member of the SDMS CME committee brings, says Danielle Queening. The SDMS is one of the premier professional organizations in the field of diagnostic medical sonography. I am happy to work with SDMS to ensure that experienced sonographers can receive appropriate guidance on continuing education and to maintain the relevance of SDMS continuing sonography education standards.

The CME Committee holds the primary responsibilities of seeking out emerging trends and needs in the field of diagnostic medical sonography; reviewing and recommending periodic changes to CME guidelines; assisting in the development of SDMS CME products and services; and reviewing educational activities with regard to their SDMS CME designation.

In addition to her teaching responsibilities at FHCHS, Ms. Queening is a registered diagnostic medical sonographer; a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer and a Registered Vascular Technologist.
