Merrick, NY November 21, 2009 — On Friday December 4th, 2009, 3 Long Island bands will participate in a fundraiser for Rock4XMAS.com The music for the evening includes artists such as BigDaddy & The Bulldogs, Mama Funk & The Mudcats and The Bobcats The event is produced by Act1Entertanment, Inc & will benefit Long Island Families in need this holiday season
This special Friday evening all of the performers will be working to help The Rock 4XMAS Foundation further its mission designed to bring food, gifts and clothing to less fortunate families each holiday season, as well as raise good cheer by raising money doing concerts around the country. The non-profit group, relies on private donations to help local families in need and are recognized by the Federal Government with 509 (c)2 tax exempt status. All bands appear courtesy of Act1Entertainment.Net. The music starts at 9:00 p.m. at The Bad Moon Saloon 139 Merrick Avenue, Merrick NY 11566. Raffles, Drink Specials, Late Night Menu, Giveaways & Great Live Music with surprise guests will all be on tap. There is a $5 donation at the door.
