Google Apps For Businesses Rates Slashed for Indian SMBs!

Here is an incentive that Google is offering to small Indian businesses to move to cloud. They have nearly halved the rates for Google Apps for Businesses. Interestingly, this move is only for Indians and is not applicable world-wide.

Google understands that India is a extremely price conscious market and given the huge potential that she has. According to Google only about  1 percent of 47 million small businesses in India are online and they want it make it cheaper for these businesses to come on cloud.

Earlier, Google charged USD 5 dollars per user per month or 50 dollars a year. In Indian rupees they charged Rs. 250 per month and Rs. 2500 per year. However the as per the new pricing Indian SMBs will be charged only Rs. 150 per user per month or Rs. 1500 per year.

Here is the new rate card.

The price drop by Google is sure to attract many more Indians to move to Google cloud platforms apps.

The new pricing includes everything that was offer previously including web mail, calendars, cloud storage, and video meetings through Google’s consumer products, Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, and Hangouts.

I have personally been a user of Google Apps for more than 7 years now. Earlier, Google used to offer nearly 100 mailboxes free, which did not include their support.

However, over the years, they have moved away from offering free mailboxes, so that they could increase upon businesses who subscribe to their services.

If you have been waiting on subscribing, now is the time. Go ahead sign-up and get your business online.

I know atleast 40+ small companies which moved to Microsoft who still offers free email service with custom domain (i.e. [email protected])

Google understands India is very very price sensitive market. Most small companies/user will not move to paid service when same thing is offered for free.

Google – You can show 10 more advt & earn more money from it then offering paid service.

Microsoft has grabbed it at right point & enjoying new customers at
