That’s a question I have been asking people for quite sometime, not before I asked it on Quora (How Indian Movie rental services are doing? Subscription numbers for services like bigflix.com and seventymm.com?) and it was Sidharth’s answer which then triggered this post! When I tried to dig more I found out a question on [...]

The Bollywood industry has come of age in this new millennium. It is, now, no more stereotypical to songs and action sequences typically followed by happy endings. The broad Indian cinema has become more sophisticated than ever before, now even targeting audiences outside India as well. In fact, successful directors such as Karan Johar …

bollywood-business

There was an era of classic movies where the producers and directors used to spend their lives on making a good movie. Until now, we had come across the concept of child lock on television channels to prevent children from accessing any dangerous or unwanted content. by Viral Dholakia
aamir-khan

Youth icon Aamir Khan claims that the credit for the hit film songs must go to actors, not lyricists. He believes that the actor makes a film song popular and not the lyricist who gives words and a theme to the formation of the song. A lyricist is the person who is originally responsible for [...]

Media Monday: Hollywood’s Best Acting Schools coming to India!

by Arun Prabhudesai
Lee-Strasberg-Theatre-Institute

Well this is interesting! One of the Hollywood’s best Acting schools is soon going to launch one of its international branches in India. Lee Strasberg Institute boasts of Alumni such as Scarlett Johansson, Angelina Jolie, Adam Sandler, Al Pacino and the likes.
